Nomadic Effects, an eco-minded, ayurvedic brand, today announced that Michael Parker has been named as the Chief Executive Officer of the startup. Jordan Brandt, Co-Founder, has been the acting Chief Executive Officer over the last 9 months and will continue as Co-Founder and Creative Director. Michael will oversee the company’s business and growth strategy, with an emphasis on meeting customer needs by delivering scientifically created adaptogenic blends to assist your body in overcoming a wide range of stressors.

Mr. Parker brings 15 years of senior management experience, including a decade of strategic development and plan execution with national companies, most recently as Sr. Director of Product Management, at Mitchell International. In 2016, Qmedtrix was acquired by Mitchell International. Parker was key in the growth and acquisition of Qmedtrix, where he served as Chief Operations Officer. In his role, he was responsible for development of the product vision and provided strategic leadership. Parker evaluated business processes and company operational requirements, transforming objectives into tangible efficiencies and system innovations.

Mr. Parker has a reputation for building high-performing teams that deliver innovative solutions to solve complex business challenges. He has a passion for identifying opportunities and driving business value and customer adoption. Mr. Parker is a proven thought leader in the areas of culture, change management, strategic planning, team-building, and personal development. Michael holds a Bachelors of Science in Technology Management from George Fox University.
